TBAL to manufacture 737 vertical fin structures
Boeing today announced the inclusion of a new manufacturing line in its joint enterprise, the Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) at Hyderabad, Telangana, to fabricate complex vertical fin constructions to its 737 family of airplanes. The growth marks a substantial landmark for the joint venture.
"That is a remarkable step in the development of India's aerospace and defence production," explained K. T. Rama Rao, Telangana Municipal Administration and Industries Minister. "Telangana is a recognized hotbed for India's defence and aerospace business supported with a strong ecosystem, like a huge pool of skilled and industry-ready work-force. I congratulate Boeing and Tata with this landmark," he added.
