Reliance Trends launches Avantra Indian ethnic store

Avantra by Trends, a new unique saree and ethnic dress concept made exclusively for ladies, is now open for business. One of the new company's most visible stores, spanning over 9,500 square feet, opened in Bangalore.

This “Trends by Avantra” concept is made just for Indian ladies aged 25 to 40 who love custom, tradition, and legacy, and who also celebrates every element of “Indian” and “ethnic.”

At present, Trends is working with more than 80 weavers, designers, artisans, skilled craftsmen, and production facilities together with 10 Master craftsmen and makers from all across the country, alongside other designers and artisans from 5-plus saree-craft clusters and 11 states.

"Avantra by Trends" is presented as the key pan-India approach that will establish retail presence in Metro, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 markets with the intention of expanding into different states, the company claims.

With over 500 outlets spanning across 160 locations, Reliance Trends is one of India's leading garment retail companies. Large Format Stores (LFS) covered more than 30,000 locations, but the company is now down to less than 2,000 square feet and the entire format has been disassembled into multiple sub-categories, like Trends Woman, Trends Junior, and others. "Avantra," a concept introduced by Reliance Retail, is officially unveiled recently at Jaya Nagar in Bangalore. Attractive to the middle-class customers, the store is reported to have a distinct and exclusive range of Indian ethnic apparel.
