Pilibhit House, an IHCL Seleqtions Hotel Opens in Haridwar
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), yesterday announced the opening Pilibhit House as an IHCL SeleQtions hotel, in Haridwar. Pilibhit House has a rich heritage that goes back over 100 years. It is located on the banks the sacred Ganges and at the foothills to the Shivalik mountains.
Taljinder Sing, Senior Vice President, South Mumbai and SeleQtions at IHCL stated, "With its stunning landscapes ringed with the lofty Himalayas. Uttarakhand isn't only a nature lover’s delight, but also for its many religious sites. IHCL's Pilibhit House is a gateway to the holy city Haridwar on the banks of River Ganga. This destination will now be part of IHCL's portfolio. It will create new routes for international and domestic travellers, as well as connecting the state with Rishikesh and Corbett.
The elegant suites and 35 rooms are wrapped around a peaceful courtyard with balconies that provide panoramic views over the Ganges. Dining Room serves delicious vegetarian food, as well as a wide variety of local and international delicacies. You can unwind in the Lobby Lounge, where you can enjoy finger foods and open-air dining.
A Ganga Aarti is available at Pilibhit House's private bathing area. Yoga at the Ganges Deck is also available. Jiva Spa is a place for meditation and relaxation that uses traditional Indian healing methods and the finest natural ingredients. With a private session, guests can trace their ancestry for decades. Other experiences designed to invoke the four stages of spirituality include a private session of genealogy, an offbeat holy trip, trip to Ashrams, a forest picnic, and a wetland tour in the Chiriyapur Forest Range.
