Motorsport came alive with high octane launch of Formula Regional Indian Championship
'Indian Formula Regional Championship and Indian Formula 4 Championship' Inaugurated in Madhapur, Hyderabad. The world-class FIA Grade Street circuit will be hosted in February 2022 in four cities: Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai, and Coimbatore. As part of the curtain-raiser, the F3 street circuit race began and ended on the city's famed cable bridge. Motorsport came to life today with the high-octane inauguration of the Formula Regional Indian Championship and Formula 4 Indian Championship. P.P. Reddy, Chairman of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., and M.D Krishna Reddy, CEO of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., introduced the F3 Car during the event.
Speaking about Racing Promotions' current endeavours, Akhilesh Reddy, Chairman, Racing Promotions, stated, "Monaco, as a sovereign city-state, has produced Formula One drivers, and we, as a country of over a billion people, now have the platform to provide aspiring racing drivers with the opportunity to compete against the world's best and potentially serve as a stepping stone to the apex of motorsports, Formula One." Additionally, he stated, "We committed to investing in the long-term development of motorsports and establishing a platform for aspiring racing drivers in India; the inaugural season of racing will take place from February 22 to March 22 in New Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad, and will attract international racing talent as well."
Navjeet Gadoke, RPPL's Vice Chairman and Managing Director, remarked, "Our investment will transform Indian motorsports, and our goal is to create a world-class, holistic ecosystem for motorsports that will become a force to be reckoned with, not just in this sport, but in all Indian sports." Racing Promotions' new period ushers in a new era of long-term racing culture in India, with races planned throughout the country. Racing Promotions Pvt. Ltd. will host the FIA-certified Formula Regional Indian Championship and Formula 4 Indian Championship in the following months. Additionally, RPPL anticipates relaunching the city-based league in Q1 2022 as the "Indian Racing League." Additionally, India's First-Ever FIA Graded Street Circuit will be held in Hyderabad!
