LONGi strengthens position in Indian market with latest innovations at REI 2021

During REI 2021, LONGi enters a partnership arrangement with Power n Sun. LONGi and the United Arab Emirates' Power n Sun, the Middle East's largest solar distributor, have announced the signing of a partnership agreement to strengthen their already strong relationship in the Indian and Sri Lankan markets. Mr. Arijit Mitra, LONGi Solar's DGM for channel business in India and Sri Lanka, and Mr. L. K. Verma, Managing Director of Power n Sun, formally inked the agreement during REI 2021.

SolarQuarter released the fourth edition of its 'Power100' ranking - the top 100 solar business leaders in India - at REI 2021. Pradeep Kumar, Managing Director of LONGi India, was named to this top list for his major contributions to solar photovoltaic (PV) technology.
LONGi believes that 182mm modules have a strong chance of reaching a market share of 70% next year.
LONGi is the market leader in this segment, accounting for about 58% of total shipments in Q2 2021. According to industry data, high-efficiency mono PERC modules have surpassed 70% of India's total exports in the third quarter.
In terms of the overall development of the photovoltaic industry, LONGi anticipates that the 182mm size modules will be released in large quantities during the second half of this year, and the company anticipates that 182mm modules will account for more than 50% of module shipments to existing domestic and international markets in 2021, increasing to 70% in 2022.
