Bonn Group launches Americana Multigrain Cracker Biscuits
Bonn Group, India's biggest manufacturer of food goods, has created Americana Multigrain Cracker Biscuits, which are pocket-friendly and provide a healthy treat with an ideal balance of flavours.
These cookies are the ideal mid-day snack because they contain multigrain flours, flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and watermelon seeds. Additionally, rolled oats and soya beans are included in the ingredients.
Crackers are often lower in calories than other biscuits due to their wheat flour or oats base. They are a good source of B-Complex vitamins and dietary fibre. Consuming healthy snacks on a daily basis, nutrition experts say, helps keep you energised and aids in weight management.
Bonn's new multigrain cracker cookies will initially be accessible in Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the baking behemoth launched and distributed healthful and immunity-boosting products to its clients.
Amrinder Singh, director of Bonn Group of Industries, stated, "For a long time, snacking has been linked with unhealthy food that is deep fried and high in salt. However, the trend has shifted recently, and individuals are snacking more than ever. Many folks have resorted to binge viewing or simply snacking during lockdowns.”
“This has prompted people to opt for healthier snack options such as crackers. Crackers are gaining popularity as a snack option due to their high vitamin content and suitability for weight loss. Today's consumers desire delectable snack options without sacrificing their health, which is why Bonn incorporates nutritional elements into all of its products," he noted.
According to a Euromonitor International report published in 2020, the trend of'snackification' is catching up in India. It is rapidly gaining popularity among millennials and individuals who work from home.
The multigrain cracker biscuits are priced at Rs 10 for 36gms and Rs 20 for 72gms. Bonn has made ongoing attempts to keep its products affordable in order to reach a broader audience, and this product follows suit.
The company's brand is an exclusive premium biscuit variety recognised for its high-quality ingredients and complex flavours. The biscuits are available in a variety of flavours, including conventional cookies, digestives, crackers, cream, atta, and others.
According to data analytics firm Nielsen, the Indian FMCG business generated a value-added production of 36.9 percent in April-June 2021. The increase was achieved despite the quarter being struck by the pandemic's second wave.
