"The Ayurvedic anti-diabetic medicine BGR-34 has been scientifically validated and is extremely successful in the treatment of type 2 diabetes," Shripad Naik, Union Minister of State for AYUSH, stated in the Rajya Sabha. In response to a question on the efficacy of BGR-34, Naik stated that the medication was introduced into the market after passing all necessary scientific studies. He stated that the medicine has been effective in lowering diabetic patients' blood glucose levels and is available at all major chemist counters across the country.
Additionally, BGR-34 was ranked first in the anti-diabetic ayurvedic product category by IMS Health and was ranked among the top six brands in a review of new launches in the Indian pharmaceuticals sector.
BGR-34 has been on the market for approximately 9 months. It was developed and validated for efficacy and safety by scientists at the "National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI)" and the "Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), both of which are research units of the "Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)," and is manufactured and marketed by Aimil Pharmaceuticals (I) Ltd.
Mr. K. K. Sharma, Managing Director of AIMIL Pharmaceuticals, stated, "Mr. Naik's statement regarding the efficacy of BGR-34 will further bolster patients' confidence in the medication." With a strong marketing distribution network spread throughout the country, Aimil is committed to bringing the marvellous benefits of this groundbreaking research to the suffering masses throughout the country and abroad, thereby assisting them in combating this ever-changing, rapidly increasing metabolic disorder known as the silent killer far more effectively and allowing them to live a good quality healthy life."
Over the last year, a number of post-launch studies on BGR-34 have demonstrated that when administered as monotherapy in pre-diabetic or moderate situations, the medicine effectively maintained blood glucose homeostasis. In chronic and severe cases, it may be administered in conjunction with synthetic anti-diabetics. BGR-34 is reported to have beneficial hepatoprotective, nephroprotective, and anti-diabetic properties, which benefit diabetic patients.
Doctors from eminent government and renowned medical institutions, including Dr. Ramesh Kaushik of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Dr. B. P. Gupta, Medical Superintendent, Aggarwal Hospital, Dr. K. Naval Mandora, and Dr. Sunil Kolhe, have endorsed BGR-34 for its efficacy, safety, and inherent benefits in type-II diabetes. Mr. Naik continued, "Research is ongoing to create and scientifically validate additional herbal medications to target more than 30 complex therapeutic areas, including cancer, malaria, psychiatric and skin illnesses."
