Boom Motors rolls out Boom Corbett
Boom Motors, a firm located in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, has launched its first electric vehicle, the Boom Corbett, which costs Rs 89,999, a company spokesman said on Thursday.
With a 7-year chassis warranty and 5-year battery warranty, the company's initial model is the most durable bike in its class.
In a statement, Boom Motors CEO Anirudh Ravi Narayanan said he believes climate change is the greatest problem facing humankind and has made it his mission to eliminate the largest pollution in India—vehicle emissions. In addition to being interchangeable, the bike's batteries are rechargeable via a portable charger that can be plugged into any standard household outlet.
With the two battery options, the vehicle can reach a top speed of 75 kilometres per hour and carry 200 kilogrammes of weight, according to the business. The firm is the only EV manufacturer to have service points around the country, and the bike is completely built and developed in India to suit Indian driving conditions. The first EV firm to offer clients a five-year EMI, Boom Motors, is demonstrating its best in class value. As a convenience, we are supplying a swappable battery with a portable charger that will allow the bike to be charged anywhere, he said.
To ensure customer satisfaction, the company was providing roadside assistance, service locations across the country, and a sturdy bike that would have minimum downtime, he said. Intelligent features include accident and theft detection, as well as a parental model for the 'Boom Corbett' bike.
If you qualify for state subsidies, you can get the entire package for just Rs 89.999." Beginning on November 12th, Boom Motors will begin accepting reservations for the bike, with a deposit of Rs 499 to guarantee the introductory price of Rs 3,000. Deliveries will begin in January of that year.
